Reel Big Fish, and My Love For Aaron Barrett

How it All Began:

About 3 or 4 years ago, I was living @ my grandparents' house with my dad, brother, and some other relatives. One day, Lee + Vic's friend Brown stayed the night and the next morning we hung out and watched a tape of music videos Brown recorded. It was nothing special @ first, but then I heard the bouncy, energetic horn intro to Sell Out and saw this band called Reel Big Fish. I laughed at Fry Boy and the rest of the guys, and was amazed @ this cool, new sound. Later down the road, my friend Jessica let me borrow her brother Vince's RBF CD and I fell in love. Ever since then, ska has been my favorite type of music, and Reel Big Fish is my most favorite band in the world.

The Reel Big Effect:

Reel Big Fish is the band that introduced me to ska, which is one big reason that I love them. I recently put all my RBF memorabilia on the wall against the head of my bed. I have 4 posters: 1 I stole @ the last concert I saw them at the Glasshouse, 1 I bought the first time I saw them, one I bought off of ebay, and 1 I bought @ the Sun Theater during the Crouching Fish-Hidden Finger tour. I have 6 articles about them from Mean Street, OC Register, OC Weekly, the L.A. Times, and Skratch Magazine. I have 5 stickers and 2 pictures of them mixed with the other stuff. I have some Aaron Barrett autographs and an email from him, but I want to frame them before I put them up on display. I have a green sweatshirt with white writing of theirs and a black wind breaker (but I don't wear it anymore because the writing is all worn out). I have 4 different RBF shirts: a navy blue one with orange writing showing how to flip off someone, a light blue one with bubbles and a picture of all the guys (thanks Brett!), a medium blue one with some weird looking guy on it that says Reel Big Fish, and a white one with black writing and a picture of the group like on one of my posters. I have a glow-in-the-dark yo-yo and an air freshener that hangs from my rear view window. I'm looking to get their license plate holder when I can afford it and I'm also going to have a sticker made for the back window of my car. I've had a couple of dreams about seeing RBF play, and also of Aaron hitting on me. Those are the best!

my Chain Reaction Prom King

This is @ the Chain Reaction Prom. He and his girlfriend (damn bitch) were the reigning prom king + queen, and some wretched fat chick was picked for this year's prom queen and got to dance with my lover. Damn wretched bitch. But I found Aaron outside where everyone smokes and got to take this delightful picture. I love him; he's so hot!!

Me my lover @ the Glasshouse

This is me and my lover Aaron at the last Jeffrie's Fan Club show. It was such an awesome surprise to see him!! And later on while JFC was playing, I went in the pit and after a while I noticed that I was right behind him!! I was very tempted to grab his ass yet again, but the pit wasn't moving that much and I was afraid he'd know it was me touching his lucious ass. Oh well.
